Kashmir, The paradise on Earth or the Hell!!!

Kashmir is the beautiful part of northern India engulfed mostly by Himalayan mountains. The legacy of Kashmir finds its place in every corner of the world. Common masses, Philosophers, Poets, Critics and many more from far flung places have written lot about Kashmir. Therefore, I am not going to write what they have written about Kashmir.
Being a proud Kashmir, I feel its my responsibility to share my view on the present situation of Kashmir and through this blog I feel sense of  accountability as well towards the Kashmiriyat.
Kashmir has been termed as the beautiful open jail, righty so because of the cumbersome situations that arise there every now and then.
Recent elections made it very clear what people of Kashmir want. They don't want Pakistan rather they want peace and prosperity in Kashmir. Few days ago, Mr. Shekhar Gupta, the prominent journo said" Geelani and Alam speaking about Pakistan doesn't claim that they want Pakistan, if that has to be believed then half of Indians would have been in America'. This was valid point he brought forward. This is what exactly every Kashmiri wants.
Talking about the state election and the alliance between PDP-BJP. PDP played a big time politics with the people of Kashmir. However, I personally feel that this collation will show brightness in Kashmir. With the PDP-BJD led state govt, Kashmir is going go get benefitted for sure. This is an opportunity with the BJP to strengthens their base and win the hearts of people of Kashmir.

Music is Inspiration!!

Ever since, I started taking things seriously in life, I find one friend who is always with me through thick and thin that is MUSIC. Music has been there since generations and it does play very important role in our lives.
I will not deep dive into the history and background of music as Google can show you everything of that sort. My prime purpose to write this blog is to show love and respect towards Music.
I was born and raised in a very traditional family that taught moral values. Music was always there, be it some wedding, family get together, any event, any small/big function, birthday celebration , festivals or any happy/ sad moment. It is music which who is with us whether we are sad or happy. I started listening music more seriously at the age of 18 when my childhood friend got laurels by singing a ghazal originally sung by Ustaad Ghulam Ali(Chupke Chupke). It not only mesmerized me but it steal away the whole show. This moment created an altogether different kind of impact on me. I started asking my friend to give me the best ghazals sung by Ustaad Ghulam Ali.
Months later, I find myself singing those beautiful ghazals as well. I started to spent more time with music then anything else. With the help of music I could clear my exams also with great grades.
Music is truly a blessing in our lives. When we feel melancholic , we switch on sad music and when we are in celebration mood, we play on fast and peppy music. Thus music is inspiration.
